MINISTRY
Our Worship
consists of prayer,
the reading of Scripture,
the preaching of the Word,
the administration of the Sacraments<
the singing of hymns
and the receiving of offerings,
and is offered to the glory and honour of God.

Our Sanctuary Choir

shows forth its love for choral music
by the way it ministers during worship service.

Our Hand Bell Ringers
meet on Thursday Evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
in the Bell Tower room,
for an hour of fun.

New members are welcome in both groups.

For the Hand Bell Ringers,
if you can identify the colours Red, Blue and Green,
and can count from 1 to 8,
you qualify.

The Rockin' Angels
practice diligently on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Children age 5 and up
are welcome to join this group.

Our Christian Nurture Committee
brings lots of love, experience, and dedication
to many different programs here at Knox.
The main focus is
the successful operation of our Church School.
Classes run from January to June.

Our Congregational Life Committee
meets once a month
with a mandate to provide events throughout the year
for the congregation.
New members are always welcome.

Our Pastoral Care Team
seeks to engage in friendly and helpful visiting,
extending to members and others
the caring Spirit of Christ.
We find this to be a rewarding experience.


Our Knox Quilters
meets Monday and Wednesday mornings to quilt.
Completed quilts are donated in some instances
and sometimes used for fund raisers.
A sub-group of this group, known as 
The Pot Luck Bunch
organize lunches on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

Our Leading with Care Committee
attends to risk assessment
for the various aspects of Knox's church life.

Our Mission and Outreach Committee
supports Hamilton's 'Out of the Cold' program,
Wesley Urban Ministries - "No Charge Christmas Store"
Living Rock - the Hamilton cnetre for youth at risk, and
St. David's Presbyterian Church,
which provides meals and activities after school for teens.
Martha House (part of the Good Shepherd ministries of Hamilton)
Salvation army Burlington
the Downtown Church Outreach Consortium
and more.

Our Margaret Taylor Evening Auxiliary
is actively involved in carrying out the purposes
of The Women's Missionary Society.
This entails involvement in local and world mission,
through study, prayer, fellowship and service.

The Ladies' Aid
serves to assist other groups at Knox,
and to enjoy assisting socially and financially
in the general needs and community concerns of Knox.
There are four groups,
two meeting in the evening,
one in the morning, and one in the afternoon.
